Dede Utley has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Dede started their career in 2008 at Ventura County Medical Center, where they served as an Emergency Department RN, Prehospital Care Coordinator, and Trauma Manager. In 2013, they joined the Ventura City Fire Department as an EMS Coordinator before transitioning to Kittitas Valley Healthcare in 2015. At Kittitas Valley Healthcare, they initially served as the Nursing Director for Emergency Services and later became the Chief Nursing Officer.
Dede Utley completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University-Dominguez Hills in the years 2009 to 2012. In 2001, Dede Utley obtained the certification of Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN®) from the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN®). Currently, Dede Utley is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Leadership and Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, with an expected completion in 2023.
