Rick Minichino

Wellness Director at Kisco Senior Living

Rick Minichino has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rick started their career as a Head Lifeguard, EMT, and Trainer at Gillian's Island Waterpark from 1997 to 2001. Rick then worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Alert Ambulance Company from 2002 to 2005, where they provided emergency medical services and critical care transports. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Cognitive Therapist at Progressive Unit Living Systems (PLUS), working with adults who had suffered traumatic brain injuries. Rick then worked as a Personal Trainer at LA Fitness from 2008 to 2009 before becoming the GM of Personal Training at Loggerhead Fitness from 2009 to 2013. Currently, they are working as a Wellness Director at Kisco Senior Living since 2013, responsible for the development and operation of the Wellness program.

Rick Minichino's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Monmouth University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005. Rick also holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. In addition to their degrees, Rick has obtained certifications including Certified Special Population Specialist and Personal Trainer, Nsca-Certified from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as a Senior Fitness Specialty Certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness).
