Roger Helgoth has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Roger started their career as a Civil Engineer and Office Manager at the State of Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, where they provided engineering support and design for parks, recreation areas, and fishery projects. Roger then moved on to HDR, where they served as a Senior Vice President, Environmental Department Manager, and Project Manager. At HDR, they worked on various water, wastewater, and hazardous waste projects in multiple states. In 1989, they co-founded Jacobson Helgoth Consultants, an environmental engineering company that offered a range of services to clients in different sectors. Most recently, Helgoth has been involved with Kirkham Michael, initially serving as the Vice President and Nebraska Operations Manager before becoming President. In their role as President, they were responsible for developing marketing and strategic plans, overseeing quality assurance, leading company-wide team-building efforts, and representing the company in various organizations.
Roger Helgoth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering from 1965 to 1970. Roger then went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the same institution from 1971 to 1973.
