Jay Taylor is an accomplished professional in the field of Information Systems and Applications with extensive experience at KIPP Texas Public Schools since 2011. Currently serving as Director, Jay has successfully partnered with academic teams to implement comprehensive digital learning platforms and led significant data migrations during system consolidations. Notable achievements include the rapid implementation of automated Google Classroom rostering for approximately 32,000 students amid COVID-19 and overseeing multiple teams focused on digital learning and data quality. Previous roles include Sr. Manager Data & Applications, where Jay supervised system updates and collaborated with stakeholders for data transfers, and Manager of Applications, where responsibilities included managing a data warehouse and developing data integration processes. Prior to KIPP, Jay served in various educational technology roles at Houston ISD and worked as a science teacher, contributing to both academic and operational improvements in educational settings. Jay Taylor holds a Master's degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Biology.
