Kamran Shahin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and controls within the mining and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Project Controls at Kinross Gold Corporation since June 2018, Shahin has been involved in gold mine project development from study to operation. Previous roles include Project Services Manager at Ausenco, where responsibilities included gold mines development and plant expansion, and Lead Project Planner at Tata Steel, focusing on iron ore project planning in Northern Canada. Additionally, Shahin has worked as a Project Planning Engineer at Rio Tinto, managed project controls for substantial gas field developments at OIEC Group, and served as Associate Project Director at Fanavaran Aseman Giti for various manufacturing projects. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, complemented by a high school education in Mathematics and Physics at Alborz High School.
