John Armstrong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health and safety management, project management, trading, and military leadership. Currently serving as the Health & Safety Manager at King Industries since May 2023, John previously held the position of Project Manager at Forest Electric from January 2021 to May 2023. Earlier in their career, John worked at Bridgewater Associates as a Night Trading Associate, where responsibilities included trading foreign exchange and improving trading tools. Notably, John served in the US Navy for over 24 years, culminating in roles such as Deputy Director of Submarine Training and Director of Students at the Naval Nuclear Power School. John holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master’s in Defence Studies from King’s College London and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, along with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.
