Rahel Stampfer is an experienced policy and communications professional currently serving as the Policy and Communications Manager for the Noxious Weeds Control Program at King County, WA since November 2022. Previously, Rahel held multiple roles at EarthCorps from January 2013 to November 2022, including Corps Program Manager, where responsibilities included planning and implementing trainings for AmeriCorps and International Trainee participants, as well as serving as a recruiter and program administrator. Additional experience includes a contracting position with the Puget Sound Partnership focused on environmental research and outreach, an NPDES Outreach Internship with Snohomish County Surface Water Management, and earlier work as a CorpsMember at EarthCorps. Rahel's initial career stage involved serving as a Special Events Assistant at Rainforest Alliance. Educational background includes an MPA in Public Policy from the University of Washington and a BA in Anthropology and International and Global Studies from Brandeis University.
