Savannah Welch is an accomplished multimedia journalist with a strong background in reporting, anchoring, and weather forecasting. Currently serving as a Morning Reporter and Fill-In Forecaster at KING 5 Media Group, Savannah has previously held significant roles at KATU Channel 2, Sinclair Broadcast Group, and Annenberg TV News, among others. Notable work includes extensive coverage of Portland’s homeless crisis, an Emmy-nominated weather report during a severe ice storm, and challenging prominent political figures regarding integrity in journalism. Savannah holds a Master of Science in Geosciences with an Applied Meteorology concentration from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Journalism from the University of Southern California, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production from Pepperdine University.
