Wesley provided guidance to key stakeholders and played a crucial role in PSM/RMP compliance audits and major CAPEX projects.
Additionally, Wesley served as a Corporate Process Safety Engineer at Aka Energy Group, LLC, where they developed and implemented the corporate PSM/RMP program for gas processing facilities across multiple states. Wesley also led compliance-related projects and facilitated various process hazard analyses.
Before joining Aka Energy Group, Wesley worked as a Corporate Process Safety Engineer at Kinder Morgan, Inc. Wesley continued their responsibilities after the acquisition of Copano Energy, LLC by Kinder Morgan. Wesley was responsible for EPA RMP re-submissions/corrections for gas processing facilities.
Wesley began their career as an Intern/Challenger/HS Advisor/Facilities Engineer at bp, where they provided mechanical integrity and operations engineering support. Wesley also played a role in occupational/process safety, regulatory compliance, and policy development.
Prior to their work at bp, Wesley worked as an AutoCAD Draftsman/Project Manager at Garrett Engineering.

Wesley C. received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University from 2004 to 2008. Wesley then pursued further education at the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business, where they obtained an Executive MBA in Energy from 2022 to 2023. In addition to their degrees, Wesley also holds certifications such as the CCPS Certified Process Safety Professional from the AIChE (obtained in July 2017) and the MKOPSC Safety Engineering Certificate from the TEES Mary Kay O'Connor Process Safety Center at TAMU (obtained in May 2008).
