Dr. Tan received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from the University of New Mexico in Electrical Engineering. He is currently Professor in ECE Department at Purdue University Northwest and the Associate Editor for the International Journal of Engineering Research & Innovation (IJERI) and the International Journal of Modern Engineering (IJME), and a senior member of IEEE. Currently, his research interests are in the areas of digital signal processing; adaptive signal processing; and control systems and digital communications.
