Kanyi Maqubela is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. They served as a Partner at Collaborative Fund from 2011 to 2017, leading and supporting over 40 investments in notable companies such as reddit and Upstart. As co-founder and board member of Heartbeat Health, they contribute to advancing virtual care for cardiology. Currently, Kanyi is a board member at UCSF Foundation Investment Company and managing partner at Kindred Ventures, among other leadership roles. They also shared their expertise as an adjunct professor at New York University from 2016 to 2018.
