Syed Ajlal Hassan has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Syed Ajlal began their career as a Planning Engineer at Techno Engineering Services & PCL Construction Ltd. in 2002. Syed Ajlal then worked as an Operations Engineer at NCB Corporation, a subsidiary of Fuji Corporation, from 2003 to 2004. Following this, they joined Japan Import Auctions, another Fuji Corporation subsidiary, as a Supply Operations Manager from 2005 to 2006. Hassan then became the Global Business Lead at Fuji Corporation in 2006, where they worked until 2009. During this time, they also served as the Managing Partner of Pick n' Drive, an ecommerce D2C startup they co-founded, from 2007 to 2009.
In 2009, Hassan joined Procter & Gamble as a Market Planning Manager, where they remained until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Supply Planning Manager at GSK. Their next role was at EY, where they served as a Managing Consultant in Supply Chain Strategy & Planning from 2013 to 2016. Here, they gained extensive experience in various areas such as integrated business planning, operating model design, process improvement, demand forecasting analytics, procurement, and manufacturing excellence.
In 2016, Hassan joined PA Consulting Group as a Senior Principal Consultant specializing in supply chain automation. Their responsibilities included innovating and improving value networks, developing digital supply chain strategies, and enhancing competitiveness through AI and robotics automation. Finally, in 2018, Hassan joined Kinaxis as a Client Partner and later became the Senior Strategic Director in 2019.
Syed Ajlal Hassan has a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Greenwich, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Syed Ajlal also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, earned from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they have completed certifications in Lean Practitioner Level 2 from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2015, and in Contract and Commercial Management from Fuji Corporation. Syed Ajlal has also completed executive business management training at Temple University Japan.
