Monica Villalobos is a seasoned urban planning professional with extensive experience in transportation, community development, and environmental consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Practice Leader at Kimley-Horn since May 2024, Villalobos previously held the position of President and Principal at Vicus Planning. Additionally, Villalobos has contributed to various organizations, including serving on the National Steering Committee for Mpact since January 2016, and as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Pico Rivera from January 2020 to January 2022. Prior roles include Associate Vice President of Transportation at AECOM and Chair of the Latinos and Planning Division of the American Planning Association. Educational credentials include an M.R.P in Urban Planning from Cornell University and a Ph.D. (ABD) in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
