As a research associate and the principal investigator and manager of USAID/Burma's Myanmar Analytical Activity (MAA), Melissa oversees the work of Kimetrica’s technical staff and sub-contractors in Yangon. Melissa is also the market specialist for a remote monitoring food security project in East Africa. She has served as a survey manager for large-scale household surveys among vulnerable pastoralist and farming populations for USAID’s Food for Peace (FFP) offices in Ethiopia and Kenya.
Melissa is a trained economist and research analyst, specializing in applied microeconomics and survey management for international development research, including food security in East Africa and Southeast Asia. She holds a BBA in Economics from the University of Georgia and an MPA and an MA in Economics from the University of Colorado Denver.
