Niall Colbert is currently serving as an IS Technical Support Officer for Business Applications at Kildare County Council, having joined in January 2024. Prior to this role, Niall worked as a Software Developer at Apridata from April 2022 to December 2023 and as a Software Developer/Microsoft Administrator at DEMServices from September 2021 to April 2022, where contributions included adding new features to a SAAS product and working on both frontend and backend development. Niall's diverse experience includes a period as a News Anchor and Freelance Journalist at Communicorp Media, as well as various positions in software development and broadcasting, including a Junior Software Developer at eDuce Software and a Sports Broadcaster at Midlands 103. Niall holds multiple degrees, including a Professional Diploma in Cybersecurity and a Higher Diploma in Software Development, complemented by a background in Music Technology and English.
