Jason Du, CPA, currently serves as Financial Controller at Kijiji Canada since May 2021, having previously held the role of Senior Financial Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). At Kijiji, Jason has successfully developed annual budgets, identified revenue opportunities resulting in over $2 million, and designed financial models for various initiatives totaling $6 million and $1 million in capitalization and ownership transfer synergies, respectively. Prior to this, Jason managed Financial Reporting & Analysis at eSight Eyewear, where significant improvements in reporting efficiency and cost-savings were achieved. Jason's earlier experience includes roles at KPMG Canada, focusing on financial audits and accounting standards, and at the Canada Revenue Agency in internal audit. Education was obtained from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.
