Diyar Hameed, P.E., is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the engineering field. Currently employed at Kiewit since September 2015, Diyar has held positions as both an Electrical Engineer and Project Engineer. Prior roles include serving as an Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell and a Project Engineer at PSEG. Diyar's expertise encompasses overseeing major maintenance and inspection activities for GE gas turbine units while managing mechanical, electrical, control, instrumentation, and civil operations at several power plants. Additionally, experience at URS involved the upgrade and installation of SCADA and EMS systems throughout Iraq, highlighting proficiency in distributed systems and communication technologies. Diyar holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Al-Jami'at Al-Technologia, earned in 2002.
