Carlos Fernandez is an undergraduate research assistant at Louisiana State University since February 2022, focusing on the imprinting of polymeric nanofluidic devices for DNA analysis while aiding faculty members with related research projects. Carlos also served as an academy coach for the Baton Rouge Soccer Club from September 2021 to September 2023, where practice models and tactical aspects of soccer were developed for young players aged 6-8. Prior experience includes a role as a crew member at Smoothie King from January 2021 to October 2021. Carlos is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana State University, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds a high school diploma from Brother Martin High School, awarded in 2019.
