Steve Hellyer is an experienced highways professional currently serving as Highways Team Leader at Kier Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Steve worked as Assistant Design Manager at Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM from November 2021, focusing on HS2 Main Civils works phase 1 C23, after serving as Senior Project Engineer and Acting Team Leader at Kier Group where responsibilities included managing drainage highway renewals and overseeing design activities. With a solid foundation in project management from roles at Eastleigh Borough Council and West Sussex County Council, Steve has developed and implemented numerous highways and civil engineering schemes, demonstrating expertise in traffic signal refurbishment and safety engineering. Steve holds a degree from the University of Portsmouth.
