Melissa Garner is a seasoned civil engineer with a strong background in highways and utilities engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Steer since September 2022, Melissa previously held roles including Senior Highways Engineer at GHD, Highways & Utilities Engineer at WSP in the UK, and Assistant Engineer at Project Centre Ltd. Melissa's expertise encompasses a variety of projects, from localized traffic calming measures to large-scale regeneration initiatives, with skills in alignment, drainage, traffic sign, and roadmaking design. Earlier experiences include freelance work as a CAD Technician and a Junior Civil Engineer placement at Project Centre Ltd, along with customer-focused roles at Gap Inc. and Homeform Group Ltd. Melissa holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering from Coventry University.
