Marilyn Alonso-Torres has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as a Special Education Itinerant Teacher, Parent Training Provider, and Applied Behavior Analysis Provider at Kidz Therapy Services since September 2012. In addition, Marilyn holds a position as a Special Education Teacher with the NYC Department of Education, certified in teaching students with disabilities in grades ranging from birth to ninth grade, and specializes in planning and teaching integrated and self-contained classes according to New York State standards. Marilyn’s professional background also includes roles as an Account Executive at MDeverywhere and a Reimbursement Specialist at Long Island Cardiology & Internal Medicine, providing a comprehensive understanding of healthcare practices. Academic qualifications include a BS in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph's University, an MBA from LIU Post, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Queens College, an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from Long Island University, and an Advanced Certificate in TESOL from St. John's University.
