Mirela Rahneva, OLY, currently serves as the Partnerships Development Manager at KidSport Calgary & Area since March 2023. As an accomplished athlete with Bobsleigh CANADA Skeleton since October 2013, Mirela achieved a noteworthy 5th place finish at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing and secured 12th place at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang. Mirela is a three-time Crystal Globe Winner and earned a silver medal in the team competition at the World Championships in 2018/2019. Previous experience includes roles as a Sales Representative at Neo Financial, Courtesy Agent at True North Mortgage, and Community Engagement Representative at ENMAX. Mirela's earlier positions also feature event staff at WinSport, an International Intern with AIESEC Canada, and a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph. Educated with a Master's degree in Innovation Management from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and a Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism from the University of Guelph.
