Vishal Vernekar has held several roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2010, they worked as a Customer Support Executive at Ness Technologies India Pvt Ltd. From 2013 to 2013, they interned as a Market Research Executive at Dexter Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., contributing to a research project for the Government of Goa's Skill Development Initiative. Vishal then worked as an Account Acquisition Manager at Zo Rooms from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they joined TonicMedia as a Brand Strategy Manager until 2017 when they became a Senior Brand Strategy Manager at Gozoop Online Pvt Ltd. From 2018 to 2019, Vishal worked as a Senior Brand Planning Manager at FCB Interface, leading digital planning for various brands. In 2019, they served as the Head of Planning and Creative (Advisory Role) at Togglehead and then as the Head of Planning and Experience Design at Peopleteck Labs. Since 2018, Vishal Vernekar has also been working as an Independent Consultant at Vishal Vernekar Strategy+Design. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Marketing & User Experience Design at Kiddopia.
Vishal Vernekar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from the Institute of Management, Nirma University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Hospitality Administration/Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Vishal has also acquired various certifications, including those in brain science in interface design, information visualization, user research, human-computer interaction, mobile user experience design, and visual perception and design. Vishal also holds a membership certificate from the Interaction Design Foundation, obtained in 2019, and an Inbound Certification from HubSpot Academy, obtained in February 2017.
