Tim Carroll currently serves as the Head of Science & Technology at Ki Tua Fund, a corporate venture unit of Fonterra, beginning in October 2023. Prior to this role, Tim Carroll held various positions at Fonterra from February 2001 to October 2023, including R&D General Manager, R&D Technical Manager, and Senior & Principal Research Engineer within the Fonterra R&D Department. Tim Carroll's career also includes experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CSIRO's Molecular Science Division from December 1997 to January 2001, and as a Technical Operations Engineer at Merck from May 1996 to November 1997. Tim Carroll earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University (1990-1996) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin (1986-1990).
