Surkhab Niazi has worked for a number of companies since 1997. From 1997 to 2001, they worked as a Software Development Consultant for Pfizer Health Solutions, Inc. Surkhab then worked as a Developer for Experian Inc. from 2000 to 2001. From 2001 to 2004, they worked as a Developer for Yahoo! Inc. From 2004 to 2011, they worked as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Sr. Software Development Engineer for YP. From 2018 to present, they have worked as a Senior Software Architect and Software Development Consultant for Kharon.

Surkhab Niazi attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1992 to 1998.
