Jeanette Head has extensive experience in software engineering and technical management, currently serving as a Technical Engineering Manager at Khan Academy since July 2020, having previously held roles as a Staff Fullstack Engineer and Senior Fullstack Engineer. Prior to Khan Academy, Jeanette worked at VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff and Engineering Manager after its acquisition of Pivotal, where a position as Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager was held. Earlier experience includes mentoring at FIRST, software consulting and development at Atomic Object, and consulting roles at SRT Solutions, along with a software engineer co-op at GE Aviation and an application development internship at Dow Corning. Jeanette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University, earned in 2012.
