Omar Alkhazraji has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Omar began their career in 2008 as a Combat Linguist, contracted with the US Military, where they served as a translator and participated in security planning and strategy for high-risk military patrols. After their military service, they worked as a Logistics Specialist Officer at Al Sequircargo Express, where they managed a team of contract liaisons and monitored deliveries of goods/services. Omar then transitioned into the security field, working as a Security Officer at McRoberts Protective Agency and later as a Security Specialist at Andrews International, where they monitored security systems, performed patrols, and provided protection for high-profile clients. In 2018, they joined CBRE/Microsoft Redmond Campus as an HVAC/R Technician I, overseeing equipment maintenance and implementing energy management programs. Omar continued their HVAC career at MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions as an HVAC/R Service Tech before taking on their current role as Chief Building Engineer at KG Investment Properties, LLC, where they oversee engineering operations for properties. Omar Alkhazraji completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration at Bates Technical College from 2017 to 2019.
