Cihan Yilmaz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple years in the banking and finance industry. Cihan began their career at UniCredit in 2010, working in project and commodity finance for infrastructure. In 2011, they joined HSH Corporate Finance, where they focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. The following year, Cihan worked briefly at Deutsche Bank, specializing in structured asset finance for rail finance. In 2013, they joined KfW IPEX-Bank, initially working in aviation finance, specifically in execution and portfolio management. Over the years, they took on increasing responsibilities, becoming the Vice President in the resources and recycling department, focusing on origination and structuring. Most recently, in 2022, Cihan Yilmaz assumed the position of Director and Head of the Representative Office in Abu Dhabi for KfW IPEX-Bank.

Cihan Yilmaz earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in International Finance from Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU) between the years 2008 and 2011. Continuing their education, they then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Corporate Finance from Bayes Business School, completing it between the years 2012 and 2013.
