Umesh Babaria, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Consumer Analytics, Physical Distribution/Market Strategy, and Consumer Bank CFO at KeyBank, a position held since February 2022. Prior experience includes significant roles at M&T Bank from September 2003 to January 2022, notably as Administrative Vice President, Segment CFO for Retail and Business Banking, where Umesh was responsible for driving organic checking account growth, product development, and portfolio profitability. Umesh also held the position of Vice President for Forecasting, Peer Analytics & Investor Relations, managing a team focused on bankwide forecasting and investor relations support. Umesh holds an MBA in Finance from the University at Buffalo and a BCom in Accounting from the University of Mumbai.
