Yj Huang

Principal Materials Engineer at Key Safety Systems

YJ (Yanjun) Huang has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Starting as a Process Engineer at Xuzhou Diesel Engine Company in 1989, they then worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing from 1994 to 1998. Afterwards, they joined ArvinMeritor in 2000 as a Materials Engineer/Team Leader, where they led projects, achieved cost savings through process innovations, and played a significant role in supplier development and quality improvement projects. In 2005, YJ Huang moved to Key Safety Systems as a Principal Materials Engineer, where they provided material engineering services, specified material and process requirements, and performed design reviews. In 2014, they joined Akebono Brake Corporation as a Staff Engineer.

YJ (Yanjun) Huang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Casting Technology from Harbin University of Science and Technology in 1989. Subsequently, Huang pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tianjin University, completing it in 1994. In 1998, Huang enrolled at Michigan Technological University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering, which was achieved in 2000. Finally, in 2004, Huang completed an MBA degree in Business Management from Walsh College.
