Mark Hoops has over 18 years of experience in the education industry. Mark began their career in 2001 as a Higher Education Account Manager for Johnson Controls, where they were responsible for coordinating sales and marketing of controls solutions to higher education institutions in Illinois. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Regional Sales Rep for US Bank, where they marketed student lending products and services for higher education institutions and increased loan volume by 700%. In 2006, they became an Illinois Sales Account Manager for Nelnet, Inc., where they were responsible for strategic marketing campaigns involving bundled solutions to higher education institutions in Illinois. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a Relationship Manager for Key Bank, where they were a marketing and sales coordinator for a top education financing company. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Regional Sales Manager/Client Account Manager, K-12 Division for Tuition Management Systems a division of First Marblehead Corporation, where they were responsible for the development, satisfaction and retention of assigned member schools in the K-12 sector. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Senior Director of Fundraising and Development for Non-Profit sector for Viridian Energy. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Regional Vice President at Smart Tuition/Blackbaud, where they focused on generation of new business appointments in the K-12 market for Regional Vice Presidents serving the United States. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Strategic Sales Executive for Smartcare, where they were a new business development executive for a company that partners with approximately 5,000 preschools and daycare centers in the United States. Since 2019, they have been a Business Development Manager for KEV Group, where they are a Business Development Representative for Public Schools in the United States with the goal of going cashless and reducing risk to the Districts. Mark has opened up qualified opportunities at 300 school districts in the first 36 months ranging from 10 schools to 650 schools, and has established a 19% chance of reaching a decision maker.
