Dattu Patel has worked in the web development field since 2011. In that time, they have held various roles at different companies. From 2011-2014, they worked as a Web Developer at The Source and yconic. In 2014, they held a Solutions Designer (UI) role at TD on a contract basis. From 2015-2017, they worked as a Senior Developer, Business Applications, Information Technology at CBC/Radio-Canada. In 2017, they worked as an Application Developer at DAC Group. In 2018, they worked as a Full-stack .Net Developer at Altus Group and as a Frontend Web Developer on a freelance basis at Full Stack Resources. From 2019-2020, they worked as a Full-stack Angular and .Net Web Developer at Informco. Since 2020, they have been working as a React Developer at Toptal.

Dattu Patel attended Seneca College from 2005 to 2008, where they earned a Computer Programming and Analysis Co-op Diploma (Honours) in Information Technology.
