Dawn Kirchner is an experienced educator and administrator in the field of museum and environmental science. Currently serving as the Volunteer Administrator for the City of Kettering since July 2021, Dawn previously held various leadership roles at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, including Vice President of Education, where responsibilities encompassed the development and management of educational programs, budgeting, and staff oversight. With additional experience at the University of Kansas Natural History Museum as a Museum Educator, and prior roles at the Boonshoft Museum and Wright State University, Dawn possesses a strong foundation in program development, science education, and lab management. Dawn holds an M.S. in Environmental Science and a B.S. in Biology from Wright State University.
