Eleanor Leung is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in backend development, primarily utilizing Kotlin. Currently employed at Kernel since April 2024, Eleanor has previously held roles at hyperexponential as a Back End Developer and at Claimer as a Senior Software Engineer. Earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at VROMO, where involvement spanned the entire product stack, including frontend development with React and mobile app development using React Native, as well as infrastructure management on AWS with Terraform and Ansible. Eleanor's career began with internships at Atlassian and IBM, where contributions were made to z/OS Mainframe software products. Eleanor holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from The University of Western Australia, obtained between 2016 and 2018.
