Dr. Steven Bloomberg currently serves as Chancellor for the Kern Community College District, a position held since March 2024. Previously, Dr. Bloomberg was the President of Southeast Arkansas College from December 2017 to February 2024 and held multiple leadership roles at Oklahoma City Community College, including Executive Vice President and Vice President for Community Development, from June 2010 to December 2017. Prior experience includes serving as the Executive Director for Continuing Education and Off-Campus Programs at Florida Gulf Coast University and as Chief Executive Officer of the Borger Economic Development Corporation. Dr. Bloomberg began their career in higher education as the Dean of Workforce Education at Frank Phillips College. Dr. Bloomberg earned a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the American College of Education, a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from West Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of LaVerne.
