Matthew Nelson is an accomplished professional in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Director of Food and Beverage at Kenwood Country Club since October 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Clubhouse Manager at Bay Harbor Yacht Club, overseeing operations, member satisfaction, and inventory control from April 2022 to October 2024. As the Director of Food and Beverage at Columbus Country Club from March 2020 to April 2022, Matthew managed all food and beverage operations, including menu development and revenue growth initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Chef at Mission Point Resort, where oversight extended to multiple dining establishments, and progressing through various culinary roles such as Chef De Cuisine and Sous Chef at Mission Point Resort and Butch's. Education includes a Culinary Arts Certificate from Les Cheneaux Culinary School and further studies at Cornell University.
