Laura Whitehead has a strong background in sales and marketing, with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Laura currently holds the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Kentucky Venues. Prior to this, they worked at AJS Hotels for almost a decade as their Director of Sales and Marketing. Before that, they were the Director of Sales and Marketing at Marriott International, where they played a key role in repositioning The Columbus, A Renaissance Hotel as the premier hotel in the city. Laura also served as the Area Director of Sales and Marketing at Marriott International, leading a team of sales managers across multiple properties and brands. Throughout their career, Laura has consistently exceeded revenue goals and received recognition for their exceptional performance.

Laura Whitehead obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
