Samantha Cook is a seasoned professional in social work with extensive experience in housing and community advocacy. Currently serving as the Housing Connector Team Supervisor at Kentucky Housing Corporation since February 2022, Samantha develops and supervises the Housing Connector team while assisting in policy development for Emergency Housing Vouchers. Prior roles include Patient and Community Advocate at The Refuge Clinic, where relationship-building with medical and social agencies was key, and Program Administrator at the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, overseeing statewide program services. Samantha also contributed to the Homeless and Housing Coalition of Kentucky, AmeriCorps VISTA, and various youth and internship positions, establishing a solid foundation in community service and program management. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Asbury University.
