Ryan Young is a Water Resources Engineer at the California Department of Water Resources since March 2018, with extensive experience in water systems gained as a Project Engineer at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants from 2010 to the present. At Kennedy/Jenks, Ryan has contributed to pipeline design, water system modeling, and groundwater well design, while also serving as lead inspector for construction projects. Prior experience includes Project Manager at Pacific Architecture overseeing commercial and residential developments, and Architectural Drafter at Gansline & Associates, where Ryan created construction documents and 3D models using AutoDesk's Revit. Additionally, Ryan began as an Engineering Intern at Ecologic Consulting Engineers, assisting in water and wastewater engineering tasks. Ryan holds a BS in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, with a focus on LEED certification.
