Lee McGuire, Chief Communications Officer at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, oversees external and internal communications, including science writing, media relations, web development, events, video, social media, and graphic design. Before joining the Broad Institute in 2015 as Director of Communications, McGuire served on the Superintendent’s executive leadership team as Chief Communications Officer for the Boston Public Schools. McGuire is a reporter by training and spent ten years as a broadcast journalist covering government and health care policy for television stations in Boise, Austin and Houston. He earned a B.A. in Politics from Princeton University and a Masters Degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
