Ruth Khadembu Lucinde is currently a PHD Fellow and Research Medical Officer at KEMRI - Wellcome Trust, working on the Steroids for Pneumonia Trial (SONIA) and the Fractional-dose Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine Trial (FPCV). Previously, Ruth Khadembu held positions as a Medical Officer at The Nairobi Hospital and Defense Forces Memorial Hospital, and as a Research Assistant at the African Orthopaedic Research Foundation and KAVI Institute of Clinical Research. Ruth is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Epidemiology at The Open University, and holds a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, among other educational achievements.
