Matthew Newman has extensive experience in workshop management and engineering. Currently serving as Workshop Manager and previously as Assistant Workshop Manager at Kelston Sparkes since April 2016, Matthew brings a strong technical background from a 21-year career with HM Forces in the Army Corps of Royal Engineers, where responsibilities included line management and mentoring junior tradesmen. Matthew's expertise includes conducting routine maintenance and inspections on diverse plant equipment, diagnosing complex faults, and overseeing the preventative maintenance of equipment valued at £2 million. Educational qualifications include multiple NEBOSH certifications in Health and Safety Management and an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal School of Mechanical Engineers.
