Jennifer Raviele

Special Counsel at Kelley Drye & Warren

For over a decade, Jennifer Raviele has helped clients around the country navigate their rights in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings in the U.S. and abroad. In each situation, Jennifer works with a client to identify its specific goals and objectives, determines the strengths and weaknesses of the client’s position, and designs an action plan to pursue maximum recovery and control, whether through negotiation, litigation, or a hybrid of the two.

In hundreds of retail and restaurant bankruptcy cases, Jennifer has represented the owners and managers of shopping centers throughout the country and addressed the full spectrum of related issues, from lease assignments to rejections, pre-packaged plans of reorganization to structured dismissals, and everything in between.

Since the enactment of Subchapter V of Chapter 11 in 2020, Jennifer has also helped clients control their interests and assert their rights in these “small business” bankruptcy cases. Building on her experience, she has strategically advised clients on how Subchapter V cases differ from traditional Chapter 11 cases and how to protect themselves in this developing area of the law. She is regularly sought after for her knowledge in this space and frequently produces thought leadership on this topic.

In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer is involved in a variety of philanthropic, pro bono, and volunteer initiatives. She is the firm’s liaison to the Coalition Of Women’s Initiatives In The Law and also serves as co-chair of the Chicago chapter of Women At KDW, the firm’s affinity group for female attorneys.
