Wali Ahmed has a diverse work experience that spans across several companies and roles. Wali started their career in 2001 as a Digitizer at Fugro Geodetic Limited. Wali then worked as a Phone Banking Officer at Samba Bank Ltd. from 2006 to 2008. Wali joined Faysal Bank Limited in 2008 and held the position of Administrator ADC Applications until 2013. Wali then moved to Tameer Micro Finance Bank as the Manager of the Electronic Channel and Technology Group until 2014. In 2015, they worked at Monet Private Limited as an Assistant Manager of Technology Operations and later joined Faysal Bank Limited as the Manager of System Support until 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at Keenu in various roles, such as Head of Services and Implementation, Head of Customer Experience, and currently as the Head of Consumer Business and Customer Experience. Wali's experience includes project management, scoping digital products and services, system support, and enhancing customer experience.
Wali Ahmed has a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Karachi University, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Karachi University from 2002 to 2005. Wali also holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Noor College of Professional Education, which they acquired from 2000 to 2001. Wali Ahmed completed their secondary education at St' Patrick's High School from 1989 to 1999. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Compliance Essential Training from Faysal Bank Limited in 2012 and Pakistan Remittance Initiative Training from the Institute of Bankers Pakistan in 2011.
