Laurent Luyckx has worked in the IT industry since 1999. Laurent began their career as a System Administrator at Linkline, followed by a role as a System Engineer at Isabel. In 2001, they became a Senior Unix & Security Administrator at Tiscali Belgium. In 2005, they moved to Easynet where they held the role of Senior Systems Engineer until 2015. Laurent then moved to Wolters Kluwer Transport Services, where they held the same role for two years. In 2017, they became a Senior Systems Engineer at Le Compte Anytime. In 2019, they took on two roles, becoming the Owner of Besyslin and a DevOps Engineer at Keemotion - an Atrium Sports company.

Laurent Luyckx attended Ecole nationale Superieure d'Informatique (ESI) from 1996 to 1999 and ESI (Ecole Supérieure d'Informatique) from 1997 to 1999. Laurent also holds a Redhat Certified Engineer certification from Red Hat.
