Jerry O'Donovan currently serves as the Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Keelvar, where responsibilities include guiding the SRE team on technical direction for reliable infrastructure on AWS and implementing infrastructure as code. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Johnson Controls, where cloud-based infrastructure for security products in Microsoft Azure and AWS was designed and built, and as a Principle DevOps Engineer leading architecture assessments. At McAfee, Jerry focused on infrastructure design for large-scale data ingestion platforms in AWS, alongside a tenure at VMware as a vCloud Air Systems Engineer and Technical Support Engineer, where cloud platform manageability and availability were enhanced. Additional experience spans roles in systems administration, including positions at Smurfit Kappa, EMC, yq International, and Wired to the World, with a foundational role in desktop support at Gateway Computers/Lockheed Martin.
