Jamie Brenton's work experience is as follows:

- Associate Vice President at Keck & Wood, Inc. since November 2017.

- Senior Project Engineer at Keck & Wood, Inc. since August 2015, specializing in public works with diverse environmental engineering experience on municipal and government projects.

- Engineer IV at Gwinnett County Government from October 2013 to July 2015.

- Associate Engineer at Weston Solutions, Inc. from January 2000 to August 2005, with experience in designing water mains, pump stations, storage facilities, and stormwater detention ponds.

- Associate Engineer at Atlanta Testing from 1994 to 1995.

Jamie Brenton completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the Southern College of Technology between 1990 and 1995. Jamie further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Southern Polytechnic State University from 1997 to 2001.

In 2004, Jamie obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the GA Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Following this, in 2011, they earned a Georgia Educator Certificate from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

Later, Jamie pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Teaching from Mercer University - Tift College of Education between 2011 and 2013.
