Giancarlo Miranda serves as the Director of Research and Development at KD Innovations LLC since July 2014, focusing on the development of sealed electrolyte electrolyzers for hydrogen production, along with heat harvesting flow batteries and breathable membrane heat exchangers. Responsibilities include designing data acquisition systems, power boards, and human-machine interfaces for renewable energy prototypes, as well as preparing documentation for patent applications and writing Python scripts for electrochemical test automation. Prior experience includes roles as a PEM Fuel Cell Design Engineer at Chung Hsin Electric & Machinery MFG CORP, a Robot Simulation Engineer and Embedded Systems Engineer at ITRI, and a LabVIEW Programmer at Lama Industrial. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Power Mechanical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kun Shan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana.
