Ngigi Simon serves as the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence at KCA University since November 2019, also holding the position of Principal at the Town Campus. Previously, Ngigi served as Coordinator of Research and Evaluation and Senior Lecturer in Educational Research and Evaluation at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). From March 2014 to March 2019, Ngigi acted as Executive Director at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Gaba Campus, overseeing academic and administrative functions and promoting research support services. Ngigi's earlier roles included Dean of the Faculty of Education and Assistant Director at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), where responsibilities encompassed educational research, monitoring, and evaluation. Ngigi holds a PhD in Education Research and Evaluation from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, a Master's degree in Educational Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Botany/Plant Biology, all from Kenyatta University.
