John-Paul Tovee is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in materials engineering and corrosion management, currently serving as the Chief Technical Advisor at Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd since September 2012. Tovee has played pivotal roles in various high-profile projects, including serving as Lead / Principal Materials Engineer for significant offshore projects such as the UMID Phase 2 Project and the Absheron Project, where responsibilities encompassed crafting specifications, conducting corrosion assessments, and overseeing detailed design phases. Tovee's expertise extends to consulting roles and standardization efforts, with a strong academic background including a Ph.D. in Ferrous Metallurgy from the University of Birmingham and credentials as an International Welding Engineer.
